FBI: Navajo Police Officer Dies In Shooting

FBI News:

The FBI and Navajo Nation are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a Navajo Police Officer. He was Houston James Largo, 27, a decorated officer with five years of service.

The officer was shot while responding to a domestic violence call near Prewitt, N.M., on the Navajo Nation, early Sunday morning.

A suspect is in custody.

The officer was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital.

The New Mexico State Police and McKinley County Sheriff’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
