FBI, Navajo Nation Ask Public For Help Identifying Body

The FBI and Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are asking for the public’s help identifying a man whose body was found under a bridge in Mentmore, NM.
 
The man is described as a Native American male in his mid-40s, approximately 5’10” to 6’1” tall, weighing 240 pounds, with a scar on his left cheek and another on his left arm from his elbow to his wrist.
 
He had neck-length black hair, a moustache, and whispy hair on his chin. He had a small circular tattoo on his abdomen. He wore a brown AUI Inc. jacket, a white T-shirt, black pants, and tan work boots.
 
The body was found Tuesday night, Oct. 9, under the County Road 1 single-lane bridge near the railroad tracks.
 
The cause of death is pending an autopsy. The body was probably under the bridge for about 12 to 24 hours.
