FBI News:

The FBI and Española Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery at approximately 1:36 p.m., Wednesday, March 2.

An unknown male entered WaFd Bank, 1124 North Riverside Dr. in Española. The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money from the bank. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and ran south on Riverside Drive. 

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Age: 20s
  • Height: Approximately 5’8″
  • Hair: Shaved on sides and back
  • Build: Thin
  • Clothing: Brown or tan jacket with gray hood; dark long-sleeve shirt; black baseball cap with gray front, blue lettering and a cross; white pants; and tan or light-colored shoes. 

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
