The Los Alamos Farmer’s Market is 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mesa Public Library parking lot.
This week, there will be an abundance of organic produce, handmade items and specialty foods, including: carrots in three different colors/ apples/ celery/lettuces/ squash/ onions of every color/ peas/ peppers/ tomatoes/ potatoes/ egg plant/ squash blossoms/ cinnamon buns/ goat cheese spreads/ cow cheeses/ butter/ lavender body products/ cider snow cones/coffee/ ice teas/ vegetable drinks/ honey and honey sticks/ plums/ cherries/ fresh herbs/ vinegars/ jams/ weavings/ plants/ vegetable starts/ air plants / native plants/basil/ scones/ herb breads/ gourmet sauces/ garlic/ beets/ turnips/ loaves for gluten-free breads/ pizzas/ pecans/ mint/ sharpening service/ kettle corn/ green onions/ cabbage/ sage smudge sticks/ pork/ beef/ lamb/ jerky/ ungraded eggs/ baskets/ aprons/ hats/ fans/ market bags and more…
Also, there will be a drawing for baskets, aprons, hats, fans and market bags. Turn in tickets for the drawing by 10 a.m. at the market information booth.
