A few months shy of 15, Beedle went away March 14, 2022. Well mannered, friendly gadabout and fishing dog, she had been our close companion for 12 years and will be missed.

Many knew her from Barranca Mesa walks (carrying a football or stick), hiking the local trails, attending county board meetings, and visits to Metzger’s/Bathtub Row/LANB/Pet Pangaea or elsewhere around Los Alamos.

We thank all of you who were her friend or stopped for a pet over the years.

Beedle is entered in this year’s Orvis Cover Dog photo contest. The winner is not based on donations, (a panel chooses) but you can see some Beedle fishing pictures at https://coverdog.orvis.com/vote/.

Votes in Beedle’s name result in donations to the Morris Animal Foundation (canine cancer research). Search using her name.
