Doogie WeaverToday MacDougal (Doogie) Weaver, age 13 and a half, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was a gentle soul who loved everyone he met.
This was a hard-earned trait because he came to Los Alamos more than nine years ago from a life where he had apparently been abused. However, the love he got from everyone gave him back his trusting spirit.
He enjoyed riding in the truck with the window down, and making his buffet tour around town to Metzgers, Pet Pangea and LANB where he was showered with treats. He loved walks in the park or just sitting in his front yard to watch his little world go by.
He will be missed by his family and many friends: his dog mom, Chris; family Jason, Chelsea, Carole, Jacob, Koby, Silas, Maggie, Vivienne, Marisol, Ben, Zoe, and Reece; Linda and the gang at the Taylors; Patrick; Pam; his new friend, David; Sharon; Shaunessey; Lisa at LANB; Sally and Nara at Metzgers; his special park-walking friends Angie, Asher, and Tin Tan; his very caring and loving “other family” at Ridgeview Veternary Hospital; the folks at Pet Pangea; and many others in the community whose paths he crossed.
There’s a hole in the world that just can’t be filled by any other dog. Good boy, Doogie. I love you!
