Families looking for a fun way to celebrate 2015 are invited to Mesa Public Library on New Year’s Eve to celebrate NOON Year’s Eve.
This event gives kids and families a chance to have all the fun of New Year’s without having to wait until midnight.
Come to Youth Services at Mesa Public Library between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 for games, photobooth fun, crafts, and a special countdown to noon. There will be a chance for children to color New Year’s crowns and work on their resolutions for 2015. There will be board games, Legos, a scavenger hunt, and a special play area for even the youngest children.
You can come all dressed up to greet the New Year or dress comfy and cozy. There will be a photobooth for taking great photos to close out the year. Registration isn’t necessary and families with children of all ages are welcome.
And, of course, there will be countdown to … noon! We’ll have celebration, cheer, and dancing for 2015 exactly at noon – while everyone is still awake and happy. What better way could there be to welcome the New Year?
