Love fresh-roasted coffee? Want to help local students have a global educational travel experience?
Graduating seniors are selling tasty coffee to cover some of the costs of their educational tour of historical and cultural sites in Italy and Germany. All coffee is kosher, certified organic, Fair Trade certified, and fresh-roasted after our local order is placed.
Coffee is $13 for a 10 oz. bag and can be ordered whole bean or ground, in French Roast, Dark Roast, Medium Roast, and Decaf. The coffee has been a hit for the last four years and the group already has many orders!
Funds raised will support the Europe 2018 travelers as they learn beyond the textbook in June. Not only will travelers see cultures first-hand, but they will build confidence and skills needed for adulthood. For 11 days, Los Alamos graduates will visit St. Peter’s Basilica, Roman Colosseum, Florence, Verona, the Austrian Alps, Munich, Dachau, and Prague. www.eftours.com/ 2025088ze
This is the sixth educational tour for graduating seniors offered by local teacher, Lynn Ovaska, through EF Tours. As with past groups, Europe 2018 includes a variety of amazing seniors who all hope to develop a more global perspective as they move onto college. Ovaska is thrilled to be leading another tour for these young adults,
“Every year, I have seen these great kids from Los Alamos become part of our global community. This educational tour, right after graduation, is such a wonderful way for them to launch into the world. Every year on tour, I witness how travel changes lives. It really is an honor to be with them, seeing some of the most historic places on earth and having some the most in-depth conversations about life.”
If you are want to support local youth, know the benefit of educational travel, or endorse international Fair Trade practices, please consider ordering coffee from Europe 2018.
To order, email Lynn Ovaska at email@example.com before November 10. Make checks payable to “Europe 2018.” Orders be delivered right after Thanksgiving.
