Ernesto J. Ortiz Joins Del Norte Credit Union As Branch & eServices Manager In White Rock

SANTA FE—Ernesto J. Ortiz has joined Del Norte Credit Union as the Branch & eServices manager in White Rock.

Ortiz has more than 12 years of experience in the banking industry and graduated from Western States School of Banking, Las Cruces, in July 2015.

“Ernesto is a great addition to our team,” DNCU CEO/President Chuck Valenti said. “He has the experience to provide our White Rock members excellent service, and we’re proud to have him in charge of our beautiful White Rock building.”

The new, credit-union owned branch opened July 2016 and replaced a rental space in a local mall. Ernesto and his wife and five children have lived in Los Alamos since 2001. Prior to his career in banking, Ortiz worked for large corporations in the restaurant industry as a general manager.

Del Norte is committed to providing best-in-class online and electronic services. The credit union’s services include online banking, a mobile app, remote deposit capture, bill pay, an online loan portal, DocuSign and other services to allow members to complete banking transactions and loans easily and efficiently online. Ortiz and his team will specialize in online account openings and loan applications.
