County Public Works Hires Eric Ulibarri As Senior Engineer

Los Alamos County Engineer Eric Martinez, right, introduces new Senior Engineer Eric Ulibarri of the Public Works Department during Thursday night’s Transportation Board meeting. Martinez said Ulibarri was raised in the Pojoaque Valley. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering from the University of New Mexico and is a licensed Professional Engineer. After graduation from UNM, Martinez said Ulibarri spent seven years working with the New Mexico Department of Transportation in multiple engineering capacities, including design and construction. Following his time at NMDOT, Ulibarri spent two years working as an engineer with the City of Santa Fe Water Division. Prior to joining the County, Ulibarri worked as a subcontract technical representative and project engineer at LANL. During the meeting Ulibarri said he is pleased to be working for the County.
