Daily Postcard: Tyuonyi Pueblo, Cliff Dwellings At Bandelier

Daily Postcard: Tyuonyi Pueblo and cliff dwellings at Bandelier National Monument. Which came first …  the town or the cliff dwellings? During the Coalition Period (1200-1325), groups lived together in small communities scattered across the mesas of this area. At this point, their wing feathers are not done growing, and their tail is about 1/2 grown. As flight feathers continue to grow, and the fledglings gain confidence, they will make short flights to surrounding trees. At this age, they are still dependent on their mom and dad for food.
