Every December, Enterprise Bank & Trust’s staff volunteers at the Betty Ehart and White Rock senior centers to provide a special meal. Residents of the centers are served their favorite dishes, accompanied by live musical entertainment to bring in the holiday cheer.
Due to current circumstances, only Senior Center staff are permitted to handle residents’ food and distribution. Although no indoor meal services can be provided this year, both centers have shifted to a drive-up system to distribute Holiday Boxed lunches.
The Enterprise team will miss sharing a meal with our community members, but will still be sponsoring the special event. Both the White Rock and Los Alamos Senior Centers will distribute 300 boxed lunches on Friday, Dec. 18. This year’s menu includes Cordon Bleu Chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas & carrots and raspberry cheesecake for dessert.
The annual holiday luncheon has been a tradition for decades. This shared meal is our way of saying thank you to the seniors who have served our community over the years in leadership roles. We honor and appreciate your generously volunteered time and talents.
Although this year’s festivities look different, we are thankful for the opportunity to support this long standing celebration. We look forward to continuing our tradition with both Senior Centers, and can’t wait to share more meals and joyful memories in the years ahead.
