ENR Magazine Awards Nature Center ‘Best Project’

Mullen Heller Architecture were notified that the Los Alamos Nature Center has been selected as the ‘Best Project under $10 Million’ by ENR, a regional design and construction publication.

“This is quite a prestigious award and we are very excited on behalf of the County’s design/construction project team and PEEC at the new Nature Center!” County Communications Direcor Julie Habiger said.

The awards ceremony is Nov. 3 in Phoenix.

A panel of seven judges represented the varied demographic imprints in the industry — from a recently promoted to senior architects. These judges selected winners in each of the available categories. The judges also selected a number of merit winners.


Accompanying these awards will be a safety award and one project will win top honors as the Best Overall. The safety will be announced soon, so stay tuned. The Best Overall winner will be revealed in November.

All of the winning projects will be covered in more detail in the November issue of ENR Southwest, and the winners will be honored at the Nov. 3 event in Phoenix.
