Enjoy Great Coffee And Help Students Prepare For Global Educational Travel

EDUCATION News:

Thirteen graduating seniors are selling tasty coffee until Wednesday, Nov. 11 to cover some of the costs of their educational tour of historical and cultural sites in Spain, France and Italy.

All coffee is kosher, certified organic, Fair Trade certified, and fresh-roasted after our local order is placed. Coffee is $13 for a 10 oz. bag and can be ordered whole bean or ground, in French Roast, Dark Roast, Medium Roast, and Decaf. The coffee has been a hit for the last two years and the group already has many orders. http://www.nectaroflife.com/.

Funds raised will support the Europe 2016 travelers as they learn beyond the textbook in June. Not only will travelers see cultures first-hand, but they will build confidence and skills for college.

For 14 days, Los Alamos graduates will visit amazing Mediterranean sites, including the Prado Museum, La Sagrada Familia, Carcassonne, Nice, Pisa, Assisi, St. Peter’s Basilica, Roman Colosseum and Pompeii. To see our itinerary: http://www.eftours.com/tour-website/1693098JK.

“We sold over 50 college care packages last week, enjoyed giving out warm drinks at the Pumpkin Glow, and hope to get more support with our popular coffee this week.” Not only is the coffee tasty, it is Fair Trade supporting hard-working farmers and their families throughout the world. This is the fifth educational tour for graduating seniors offered by local teacher, Lynn Ovaska, through EF Tours. I am honored to continue to share the world with awesome young adults.”

As with past groups, Europe 2016 includes lifelong friends, talented musicians, strong athletes, young scholars, creative dancers, local volunteers, and active church members who all hope to develop a more global perspective as they move into adulthood.

Ovaska added, “This opportunity has grown and we are now seeing the difference educational tours can make. Several former travelers are part of our global community — learning abroad, studying international relations, making the world a better place.

If you are want for holiday gifts to support local youth, know the benefit of educational travel, or want to endorse international Fair Trade practices, consider buying coffee from Europe 2016 before Nov. 11. To order, email Lynn Ovaska at lynnovaska@gmail.com. Make checks payable to “Europe 2016.” Orders will be delivered right after Thanksgiving.
