Enchanted Forest Open For Skiing & Snowshoeing

This is the first year since Enchanted Forest opened in 1985 in Red River that it has remained closed … until last weekend.
 
Fresh snow last week and additional new snow Tuesday has made conditions very nice for skiing on the “inner loop”.
 
More snow is expected for a possible 6 inches of new snow on the trails. By today we will be out grooming and the chance for good skiing this weekend is high! We may see unseasonably warm temperatures again next week so grab your skinny skis and come on out while you still can.

“Just Desserts” Eat & Ski is noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. This years is the We are doing donation only this year with half the net proceeds benefiting Red River Valley Charter School.
 
In addition to desserts, this year there will be complimentary posole, green chile stew and hot drinks (a mainstay of the Christmas Luminaria Tour that had to be canceled this season).
