LANL Foundation Now Accepting Education And Community Grants Applications Through Feb. 15

LANL FOUNDATION News:

ESPAÑOLA — The LANL Foundation is now accepting applications for $2500 education and community outreach grants. The deadline for submission in the first of two yearly grantmaking cycles is February 15, 2019.

Two types of grants are offered to nonprofit organization, schools or education programs:

Education Outreach Grants directly support public school children in grades K–12; and

Community Outreach Grants meet the Foundation’s mission and vision of innovative programming, collaboration and advocacy for lifelong learning but need not be tied directly to K–12 Read More

NHCC Art Museum Closed For Renovation

ALBUQUERQUE The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) Art Museum is getting a new entrance during the month of February.
 
In order to maintain safety and protect the artwork, the museum is now closed through Feb. 25.
 
The Art Museum will reopen in time for the opening reception for its upcoming exhibition, Que Chola!, which will take place from 6-9 p.m., Friday, March 8.
