Driver Runs Into Woman Walking Near Central Avenue

LAPD News:

Police arrested a male driver after he ran into a pedestrian on Main Street near Central Avenue near noon today.

Commander Preston Ballew told the Los Alamos Daily Post that the driver ran into an elderly woman who was walking at the crosswalk. She has been transported to Los Alamos Medical Center and the extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.

The area is sectioned off with police tape while an investigation into the accident is conducted. Police will release the name of the driver and the charges filed against him soon and that information will be published in the Los Alamos Daily Post as soon as available.
