Participants can learn more about diabetes, or reinforce what they already know. The purpose of the Diabetes Support Group is to help those dealing with diabetes live with and manage their chronic condition. It also wants to attract people who would like emotional support for living with diabetes, as well as those who would like to learn some strategies for managing diabetes. Each support group meeting is topic oriented and members discuss the topic and related issues during the meeting.
