DPU To Work On NM 502 And Airport Road

COUNTY News: 

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities announced that crews with its electric distribution division will begin construction activities on the northwest corner of N.M. 502 and Airport Road. 

Weather permitting, work will begin as soon as Monday, Dec. 4 and continue through Friday, Dec.15.

Working from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, crews will upgrade equipment in the area to improve electric reliability for the adjacent neighborhoods. The project footprint is limited to the inside of the curb and should have minimal impacts on traffic.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution when driving near the construction zone. Questions can be directed to the Los Alamos County’s Customer Care Center at 505.662.8333.
