COUNTY News:
Department of Public Utilities (DPU) customers continue to experience access issues with the automated metering infrastructure (AMI) system, managed by Sensus.
“The customer billing portal, maintained by a separate company, Tyler Munis, remains operational,” said DPU Deputy of Finance and Administration Joann Gentry. “Additionally, the data relays correctly from the individual AMI meters to the central hub because we see it internally. There is a misconnection somewhere between the central hub and the customer portal that Sensus is working out.”
DPU staff continues to work daily with Sensus to address this ongoing customer access issue. All attempted repairs have failed so far. At this time, a date has not been provided for when this issue will be resolved.
The AMI service portal provides utility customers with insight into their consumption data for electric, gas, and water services. Currently, customers are seeing either a spinning wheel that never loads or the portal loads and displays all zeros.
Any customers with questions about their usage, or who would like to have their data exported, should reach out to Customer Care at 505.662.8333 or CustomerCare@losalamosnm.gov.
