Weather permitting, the repair of a gas line in White Rock is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9. Natural gas crews from the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) will be digging up a gas main to fix a service line on Grand Canyon Drive between Canyon Vista Street and Mesa Verde Street.

Traffic will be impacted around the work zone.

The work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and may last as late as 6 p.m. Drivers should expect to see flagging operations and Grand Canyon traffic reduced to one lane as they approach the work zone. They are reminded to slow down and drive cautiously.
