DPNM Welcomes Presidential Primary Campaigns To New Mexico

DPNM News:

ALBUQUERQUE – Democratic Party of New Mexico (DPNM) Chairwoman Debra Haaland welcomes the Democratic presidential primary campaigns to New Mexico.

Recently, Secretary Hilary Clinton’s campaign opened an office in Albuquerque and announced plans to open statewide. President Bill Clinton also will host events on Secretary Clinton’s behalf. Over the weekend, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign announced they would be opening an office May 16 in Albuquerque.

“We are excited to have both our presidential primary candidates actively working in New Mexico. Their offices will bring energy and get Democratic voters involved this election,” Haaland said. “Both Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders are qualified candidates that have valuable experience and substantive policy ideas to lead our country, unlike Donald Trump, who lacks the judgement and the temperament to be president. The Democratic Party of New Mexico will be working hard to ensure our candidates have the support they need to fight Trump’s racist rhetoric, harmful attitudes toward women, and reckless policy ideas.”
