The Bobcat Bonanza will feature food, carnival games, a bouncy castle, face painting, and even a dunk tank with “celebrity” guests in the dunk seat. Kids and adults can try their hand at dunking Barranca Principal Brad Parker, Assistant Superintendent Gerry Washburn, School Board Vice President Kevin Honnell and popular pediatrician Dr. Ben Neal, among others. Anyone 18 and over can sit in the dunk seat themselves, if they’d like.

No need to cook, because dinner will be served up at the Bobcat Bonanza with food from Chuck’s Wagon. Visit the bake sale for a wide variety of delicious, homemade treats to satisfy any sweet tooth.

The kids will find every kind of carnival fun imaginable, including carnival games with prizes, a bouncy castle, face painting, pony rides, an inflatable slide and a dunk tank.

A huge silent auction will round out the event, with fantastic prizes donated by local organizations.

Some of the prizes include:

  • Rejuvenating spa services
  • Delectable dining options
  • One-of-a-kind artwork, jewelry and handicrafts
  • More than two dozen bottles of exquisite wine
  • Themed gift baskets creatively designed by each classroom
  • Professional portrait packages
  • Museum passes and memberships from around the state
  • Recreation including golf, yoga, gym memberships, children’s classes, movie passes and much more

The funds raised at the event will help support school programs, such as the science fair, field trips, playground improvements, teacher stipends and the school lunch assistance program.
