FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER News:

Don Taylor of Don Taylor’s Photography is working with the Friends of the Shelter in donating his time and talent to photograph some of the shelter’s adoptable animals.

Taylor’s recent subject, Domino, is a German Shorthaired Pointer and Boxer mix.

While Domino has secured temporary quarters at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter, he has high hopes of finding a permanent home.

Sylvia Hush of the Friends of the Shelter knows Domino and describes him as fun and energetic … the type of dog that would make an ideal walking or running partner for someone.

Volunteers at the Animal Shelter have been working with Domino to refine his manners, Hush said, adding that while he isn’t fond of cats, he does exhibit a great deal of enthusiasm toward people.

Community members are welcome to visit Domino at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter, 226 East Road or call 662-8179 for more details.

Taylor has been working with the Friends of the Shelter since December. A professional photographer since 1978, Taylor has won state, regional and national awards for his photography.

Don Taylor’s Photography is located at 999 Central Ave., Suite 100. He can be reached at 662-2523.
