COMMUNITY News:

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and in compliance with the CDC guidance about public gatherings, the 2020 Los Alamos Dog Jog is being postponed from April 25 to Sept. 26.

Although the event is postponed, the Los Alamos Friends Shelter and Companion Animals need the community’s help.

Throughout the coronavirus outbreak, as  all meetings and gatherings are cancelled, travel is limited and people are self-isolating to protect themselves and their communities, dogs and cats throughout northern New Mexico still need help.

So, Los Alamos Friends Shelter and Companion Animals is asking people to please consider registering now for the Dog Jog! And, if people are one of the organization’s amazing Dog Jog sponsors, please consider donating now!

Los Alamos Friends Shelter and Companion Animals will keep track of all registrations and sponsorships, and they will make sure that individuals who are signed up to participate and get a t-shirt(s) in September. Entry forms are available at Pet Pangaea, Ridgeview Vet, and Animal Clinic of Los Alamos.

Dog Jog registration information is available at www.lafos.org .

Thanks to everyone for your continued support so that we can continue to help all the cats and dogs in need during these challenging times.
