Dixie Girl Opens for Dinner this Thursday!

Owner Denise Lane of the Dixie Girl on Central Avenue announced that her restaurant will begin serving dinner 5-9 p.m., three days a week beginning Thursday, July 26.

The Dixie Girl will serve dinner 5-9 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and continue to serve lunch 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Lane explained that alcoholic beverages will not be served at the restaurant because she must wait 100 days for her liquor license to become effective, which is the end of August.

At that time she will open the restaurant for dinner Monday through Saturday.
