A benefit dinner for Los Alamos High School teacher Joy Handsberry is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Christian Church on East Road.
Handsberry is undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer.
The dinner includes pasta, salad, cookies and homemade dessert. There is no set fee, but donations are requested.
