Diamond Drive Striping Project Starts Thursday

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Division will begin striping Diamond Drive at approximately 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The crew will only be striping the center white line and certain areas with yellow pain, commencing at the Omega Bridge and working toward the round-a-bout at San Ildefonso Road, then heading back to the Omega Bridge.

Note: The paint will take longer to dry with the colder weather temperature. Motorists are advised to try not to cross on the fresh striping as paint will be disrupted and may get on vehicles and mark up other sections of the road.

Also, motorists are urged to keep a safe distance from the crew and painting equipment and follow all traffic control devices for their safety and those working on this project.
