NMDWS News:ALBUQUERQUE ― The Department of Workforce Solutions experienced intermittent issues with the Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System Friday, June 14.
The staff is working to resolve these issues and expects the system to return to service by 4 a.m. Sunday, June 16.
People may have tried to call the Operations Center to receive service Friday and were unable to reach the staff. Customers needing to certify their claims may go online starting at 4 a.m. Sunday, June 16 at www.jobs.state.nm.us or call the Operations Center beginning Monday morning at 1.877.664.6984. The Operations Center is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Department staff also is working to contact claimants who may have experienced issues Friday to ensure that their needs are addressed. There may be a small delay in the disbursement of unemployment benefits for the week of June 17, 2019. However, the Department will be working with citizens making claims to ensure that service resumes as quickly and smoothly as possible and assure that no delay will last more than a few days.
