Demonstration Garden Fair Set For June 8

The Demonstration Garden Fair is set for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 8 across from the Los Alamos County Library, corner of Oppenheimer Drive and Central Avenue in Los Alamos. 

Mini-talks will be held regarding gopher management and garden pests. A third talk subject will be a plant clinic to which you may bring your ill plants, pesky insects, questions and concerns.

Los Alamos Master Gardeners will be in the Garden to provide information on the different sections of the garden and specific plants. 

A plant sale of plants grown by Master Gardeners will be held during the fair. There is no cost for attending.

The Garden is maintained by the Los Alamos Master Gardeners organization, in conjunction with the Los Alamos County Parks Department and the New Mexico State University Los Alamos County Cooperative Extension Office. 

The mission of the Master Gardeners is to promote knowledgeable, effective and safe horticultural and gardening practices.
