Democrats Honor Mike and Kyle Wheeler

The Democratic Party of Los Alamos held its annual JFK Award Dinner Sunday at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. This year the award for outstanding service to the community and to the Democratic Party went to Kyle and Mike Wheeler. Maggie Toulouse Oliver, candidate for Secretary of State, gave the keynote address  to the more than 100 people who attended the special event catered by Jambo Cafe. Dist. 43 Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard introduced U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Lujan who presented the Wheelers their award and enumerated their service to the community for nearly 30 years, including holding elected positions and participating on many committees.
