The deadline for businesses to be listed in the upcoming addition of the Bandelier Shuttle Newspaper for this year’s tourism season has been extended to 5 p.m. Monday, May 26.
This is an opportunity for local businesses to promote their products or services free of charge.
Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation, Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos County and Griffin and Associates Marketing have joined together to produce the Bandelier Shuttle Newspaper for this year’s tourism season.
This is a pilot project and will not only be an added service through the visitor centers and Bandelier shuttle season, but will also lend itself to improving the initiative in years to come.
The newspaper template will include information about Bandelier, local restaurants, lodging, tours, attractions, events and other businesses. There will be a page of “While you are here…” things to do, places to go and events to participate in. It will be a resource for visitors and a service to locals in an effort to bring tourism dollars through the front door of local businesses.
The shuttle newspaper will be in circulation through Oct. 31 in the shuttles, and throughout the year in the visitor centers, events and welcome kits. Business listings will be categorized into industry specific groupings as well as location, (Los Alamos or White Rock). T
For a free listing, submit the following:
*Name of business
*Short description of business, 20 words or fewer describing services, offerings, etc…
*Address / Phone / Website
*Industry specific….restaurant, hotel, department store, etc…
Email the information to Mike Lippiatt at mike@losalamos.org no later than 5 p.m. Monday, May 26 to get your business listed in the shuttle newspaper.
