ACRR News:
David Kunsberg was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runner’s (ACRR) weekly pace race held on the Canada Bonito Trail up by the ski hill at 9 seconds off his predicted time.Â
Other accurate predictors were:Â
- Jan Velechovsky with a 47 second differential;
- Tony Borek recording a 126 second difference;
- Jacky Atkins at 150 seconds off as well as the first-place finisher on the 1-mile course with a time of 16:29;
- Eric Anderson with a 153 second differential and also the top finisher in the 3-mile distance at 21:57.
On the 1-mile course Paul Geimer and months old Iris Geimer was the first male finisher recording a 18:18.
Madeline Harms was the best female finisher in the 3-mile distance at 29:59.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at the parking area just to the left after heading north on North Mesa Road after going through the traffic circle at the end of Diamond Drive between North and Barranca Mesas near the tunnel under San Ildefonso Road.
1 mile paved and 3-mile trail runs will be available.
