David Kunsberg Has Perfect Prediction In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

David Kunsberg had a perfect prediction in the weekly pace race held on the Lower Water Canyon Trail by estimating a time of 27:58 and finishing the race at that time.

Other accurate predictors were: 

  • Zeke Wilmot at 7 seconds off;
  • Peter McNiff with a 11 second differential;
  • Ryan Smeltzer recording a 15 second difference as well as being the top finisher in the 3 mile distance at 25:06; and
  • Chris Michel at 20 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course, Lily Nolan, 11, was the best finisher with a time of 12:22 and the first male finisher was Edwin Bujack, 5, at 13:32.

The first female finisher in the 3 mile distance was Madeline Harms recording a 29:23.

Next week’s race will be the last race of the 2023 season and will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 3 starting at the Canyon Rim Trailhead on East Road (N.M. 502) across from the Co-operative Market.

1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
