“I’m doing this for my White Rock clientele so they won’t have to drive all the way up to Los Alamos and wait to get a haircut,” owner Dave Patterson told the Los Alamos Daily Post a few minutes ago.
Patterson is installing a camera with teleconferencing capabilities to enable him to see and speak with his barbers and clients in White Rock from his Los Alamos location.
“I’m going to staff both locations with three barbers each to reduce the wait time for our clients,” he said.
Patterson has been a barber for 12 years and the owner of the Los Alamos shop since 2010.
“The best thing about being a barber, for me, is being able to get to know everyone in the community on a one on one basis,” he said.
The hours for Dave’s Sports Barber Shop #2 in White Rock are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Los Alamos shop has the same hours except opens an hour earlier on Saturdays. The telephone number for both locations is 505.662.3880.
