Daily Postcard: View from a pedestrian gate Sunday at Valles Caldera National Preserve’s main entrance. Valles Caldera has one vehicular entrance and seven trailhead entrances. The vehicular entrance is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the rest of the year. Trailhead accesses are open dawn to dusk every day of the year. From west to east trailhead accesses are at Sulphur Springs, Redondo Meadow, Banco Bonito, Main Entrance, Rabbit Mountain, Rincon and South Valle Grande. Learn more here. Courtesy/ NPS
