Daily Postcard: The Tsankawi Sun Symbol taken at 11:24 a.m. Saturday, June 20, when the shadow of a rock hits the center of the sun on the day of the summer solstice. So like Chaco Canyon, our local pueblo built one too during 1200-1400 AD. Note the additional inscriptions to the right.
