Daily Postcard: Successful Hunt Spotted In White Rock

Daily Postcard: A Western Bluebird carries a freshly caught earthworm recently in White Rock. These colorful birds are common breeding residents in northern New Mexico. Rather than migrate long distances, however, they spend the spring and summer at higher elevations and the winter at lower elevations. During the summer breeding season, they eat insects and small invertebrates. Photo by Richard Skolnik. Follow Skolnik on Instagram @richardskolnikphotography
