CROP Walk/Turkey Trot To Combat Hunger

COMMUNITY News:

The Annual CROP Walk/Turkey Trot is 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 with sign up for the event starting at 1 p.m. at Los Alamos Middle School on North Mesa in Los Alamos.

The courses is 2.57 miles and a shorter 1.7 mile course bypassing the horse stables area. Food and drink will be available and everyone who fills out a chance ticket and puts it in the box before or after the runs has a chance to win one of 20-30 turkeys or 20 pumpkin pies after the conclusion of the runs. 

Event t-shirts will be available depending on amount of donation to CROP/LA Cares fund. Atomic City Road Runners Club t-shirts will also be available.

The CROP Walk/Turkey Trot is sponsored by the Atomic City Road Runners Club, CROP (Church World Service global hunger relief) and LA Cares (support for local hunger relief.)
