CROP Hunger Walk & Turkey Trot Logo Contest Deadline Approaching

Creative young artists in grades four through six are reminded that the deadline for the 2013 Los Alamos CROP Hunger Walk &Turkey Trot Logo Contest is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. The winning logo will be chosen Sunday afternoon.

The contest is open to kids in fourth through sixth grades whose family lives or works in Los Alamos County. The winning design will be used as the official t-shirt logo of the 2013 Los Alamos CROP Hunger Walk & Turkey Trot.

The Logo Contest winner will receive a free t-shirt in the size of his or her choice and recognition for his or her work, plus the joy of seeing his or her design printed on more than 100 t-shirts.

Details:

  • All entries should be drawn in thick,black ink on plain, unlined white paper. The lines should be thick enough to reproduce properly on a t-shirt.
  • All entries should be no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches in size.
  • Los Alamos CROP Hunger Walk & Turkey Trot 2013 should appear somewhere prominently on the design.
  • The artist’s name, current grade, address, phone number, parent/guardian name must be written lightly(preferably in pencil)on the back of the design.

NOTE: Entries that do not follow the guidelines cannot be considered.

Logo entries may be delivered to either Village Arts (216 DP Road in Los Alamos) or Warm Hearts Yarn (13 Sherwood Blvd. in White Rock) by 5 p.m. Friday.
