The Los Alamos CROP Hunger Walk and Turkey Trot is two weeks away. In these final days, T-shirts have been designed and ordered, prize turkeys and pies will soon be ordered, the route is planned and the venue is reserved.
All that is needed now are walkers, runners and donors to register and start raising funds in support of eradicating hunger, both here in Los Alamos and around the world.
For more information, or to register or donate, the website is www.crophungerwalk.org/losalamosnm. Walkers and runners can register on the day of the event, starting at 1 p.m. in the cafeteria and Los Alamos Middle School. The starting gun goes off at 2 p.m.
