Creativity Flows Through Public Meeting on County’s Trail Signage System

County Open Space Specialist Craig Martin was determined to bring out the creativity in community members attending Tuesday evening’s public meeting at Fuller Lodge on the County’s Trail Signage System project. Rather than presenting a PowerPoint presentation from behind a podium, Martin set up a variety of table stations where community members could play around with clip art and mark up maps with crayons. ‘I just wanted people to really tell me what they want in their trail system,’ Martin said. ‘I have received some really creative ideas tonight that I hadn’t ever thought of.’ Martin said he will gather up all of the ideas from the community and put together a final trail system plan, which he will present to the public in the near future.
