Coupland Thanks Voters, Volunteers, Supporters, Donors

By LAUREN COUPLAND
Newly Elected District 3 School Board Member

I am humbled and honored to have been elected to the Los Alamos School Board. I would like to thank the voters who came out to vote. I am thrilled that the School Bond passed by such high margins. It shows our community’s commitment to our students, and our schools. It is essential that we support our schools, and Los Alamos County rose to the challenge.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me – the voters, our volunteers, and donors. I am grateful for the kind words of everyone who sent letters of support to our local press, and I hope that I can live up to their expectations. I could not have done this without the support of my family for stepping up and managing everything so that I could campaign. Finally, I would like to thank Christine Bernstein for her years of dedicated service to our community through her work on the school board.

I look forward to working with the school board and community to make sure every student has the opportunity to shine. I will work to ensure that every voice is heard and every student has the tools that they need to be successful in our wonderful community. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, I look forward to serving this community as an elected official for the school board.

With heart-felt thanks,

Lauren Coupland
