County’s Quarterly Spring Green Waste and Bulk Item Collection Coming Up in April!

COUNTY News:

If you live in Los Alamos, your pick up starts Monday, April 7 (Monday or Tuesday trash service) or Monday, April 14 (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday trash service).

For those living in White Rock, the start date is April 28 (Friday trash service) or May 5 (Tuesday trash service).

Items that WILL be picked up:

  • brush;
  • furniture;
  • mattresses; and
  • large appliances.

Note: All leaves and pine needles should be placed in paper yard bags to allow the County to send them to composting and not the waste stream.

Items that will NOT be picked up:

  • construction material;
  • lumber;
  • tires;
  • concrete;
  • railroad ties; or
  • fencing materials.

Have all items to the curb by 8 a.m. on your day, and allow at least one or two weeks for pick up to occur.
