Broadway performer DS Magid and the Los Alamos County Library System have teamed up to present an evening of songs from classic Broadway musicals of the ‘40s,‘50s, and ‘60s.
The Singalong will be fun for everyone, with no solos, no rehearsals and no special skills needed.
DS Magid’s enthusiasm for all things theatrical has never waned, from her early career singing on Broadway, right through stints as a director, producer, musical director, and award-winning playwright. Read More

Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry Donates $1,800 To Art Council Kite Festival
Christine Monteith with Los Alamos Arts Council and Dr. Bill Nichols, owner of Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry, hold up a $1,800 check Tuesday at Nichol’s office, 751 Trinity Dr. The money will be used to purchase t-shirts for the arts council’s Kite Festival. The festival is May 18-19 at Overlook Park in White Rock. NM 4 Has Reopened
Traffic Alert Update:
N.M. 4 has reopened to traffic.
A stretch of the roadway was closed Wednesday due to an extremely high volume of downed trees that continued to fall and pose a severe public safety risk as a result of high winds.
The County reminds motorists to continue to use caution when traveling the roadway and to watch for fallen trees and icy conditions. Read More

NM 4 Remains Closed Until Further Notice
LAPD News:
The Los Alamos Police Department reports that the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) has advised that N.M. 4 will remain closed until New Mexico State Police opens it.
NMDOT also stated they will not send crews into the Jemez until Thursday. Read More
