Los Alamos County would like to encourage the public to sign up for Code RED emergency notifications for their cell phone.
The mobile app is especially useful for commuters or students working in Los Alamos this summer.
Anyone in an effected geographic area for an alert will immediately receive a notification, providing the user with both a text and a voice file of the alert.
Sign up for Code RED emergency notifications online at www.losalamosnm.us under the “Public Safety” link.
