County Officials Cook for Winning Firefighters

Lunching today on meatballs over polenta in red sauce, from left, Los Alamos County Deputy Administrator Brian Bosshardt, Firefighter Robert Fuselier, Fire Cadet Nick Bever, County Environmental Specialist Tom Nagawiecki, Fire Chief Troy Hughes, Capt. James Pepe, Firefighter Sean Henry, Firefighter Michael Lewis and County Administrator Harry Burgess. Bosshardt prepared the meal, assisted by Burgess as a way to reward the firefighters at Station 4 on Diamond Drive near the golf course for being the top energy savers in the County’s Energy Conservation Competition over the last six months.  Station 4 reduced its energy consumption by 30 percent, saving the County $1,800. Stations 4,6, and 3 together saved the County $2,800. Photo by Carol A. Clark/
