They’ll be meeting at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers and discussing purchases needed to re-establish composting capabilities in Pueblo Canyon, as well as a possible lease of space at 999 Central Ave., to house the Fire Administration staff. Trinity Site Plans Approved by P&Z Commission Wednesday
The site plans got the green light to proceed this week. Smiths/Kroger plans to submit construction drawings to the County in a few weeks. If things stay on schedule, construction will begin this summer on the new Smiths Marketplace. The new retail store could open as soon as November! Watch the County Line for future updates!
Ice Rink Closed for Season, but Golf Course is Open!
The Ice Rink closed on Monday after warmer temps caused ice melting and unsafe conditions. The good news is: the Golf Course is open! And of course, there’s always swimming at the Aquatic Center, too! Get out this weekend and enjoy all of these great recreational facilities here in Los Alamos!

It’s March, and that means the Annual Photography Show will be opening at Mesa Public Library’s Upstairs Art Gallery next week! The Opening Reception is 5:30 p.m. Monday – join local photographers who will be proudly displaying their work for this month-long exhibition!
