County Library System Increasing To In-Person Services

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Library System announces an increase to in-person services 2-6 p.m. Fridays beginning May 7.

Curbside service continues Mondays and Wednesdays but will no longer be available Fridays.

New library hours:

  • Sunday Closed
  • Monday 2-6 p.m. curbside
  • Tuesday 2-6 p.m. walk-in
  • Wednesday 2-6 p.m. curbside
  • Thursday 2-6 p.m. walk-in
  • Friday 2-6 p.m. walk-in
  • Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. walk-in

What stays the same:

  • Patrons are still required to wear masks and to get their temperature checked in order to enter the library.  
  • Patrons are asked to limit their visits to 30 minutes or less
  • Occupancy levels stay the same at 30 for Mesa Public Library and 10 for White Rock
  • Study and meeting rooms are unavailable
  • Please return your items to the outside book drops
  • Children ages 10 and up may enter the library unaccompanied. Ages 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
