County Launches ‘I Support Manhattan Project National Historical Park’ Campaign

COUNTY News:

In conjunction with the upcoming field visit by representatives of the National Park Service and Department of Energy regarding the new Manhattan Project National Historical Park, the County is sponsoring an “I Support the Manhattan Project National Historical Park” campaign.

Community members supporting the Park are encouraged to add their name and address to a pre-printed postcard with the campaign message – the postcards will be gathered and then displayed on a large exhibit board for the public meeting June 2 at Fuller Lodge.

The pre-printed postcards are available to the public and being collected in boxes at the Mesa or White Rock libraries and inside the lobby of the Municipal Building.

Likewise, the community is encouraged to post the words “I Support the Manhattan Project National Historical Park” and #iSupportMPNHP accompanied by local photos of familiar Los Alamos or White Rock views, events or historic buildings on their personal Facebook and Instagram accounts.
